President & Chief Executive Officer, RFA Financial

Ben Rodney is a senior executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in real estate, capital markets, and financial services. He joined RFA in 1997 and is currently the President, CEO and Managing Partner of RFA. Ben has led the structuring, pricing, and due diligence of over $20 billion in Canadian commercial mortgages and real estate. He was the Chair of the Board of Artis REIT. He is also Chair of the Board of Trustees of Nexus REIT. Ben holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Victoria.

Chief Financial Officer, RFA Financial

Jaclyn Koenig is RFA Financial's Chief Financial Officer and served as the Chief Financial Officer of Artis REIT. Prior to being appointed Chief Financial Officer, Jaclyn held various accounting and finance positions with Artis REIT since 2007 and has been responsible for financial reporting, property accounting, oversight of internal controls and has led the growth of the accounting team. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree from the University of Manitoba and Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) designation.

Chief Operating Officer, RFA Financial

Melody Lo brings over 20 years of experience in both private and public financial institutions to her role as Chief Operating Officer at RFA Financial, where she oversees operations for RFA Financial and its subsidiaries. Since joining RFA in 2017, she has held senior leadership roles across multiple RFA platforms, most recently as Managing Partner. At RFA Bank, she led the Commercial and Construction team, achieving more than $1 billion in Canada Mortgage Bond originations within the first year. Earlier in her career, Melody held progressively senior positions at General Electric, Standard Life Investments and Manulife, spanning acquisitions and integrations, strategy, finance, asset management, and commercial real estate debt and equity. She also serves as Vice-Chair on the Board of Directors of the Yee Hong Community Wellness Foundation and holds an Honours Business Administration degree from the Ivey Business School at Western University.

EVP, Legal & Corporate Secretary

Kara Watson currently serves as Executive Vice-President, Legal and Corporate Secretary of RFA Financial and previously served as the Executive Vice-President – General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Artis REIT. She has over 20 years of experience as general counsel in the commercial real estate industry, including over 15 years at Artis REIT. Kara holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manitoba.

Global Head of Investor Relations & Sustainability

Heather Nikkel serves as Global Head of Investor Relations and Sustainability, leading the Company's investor relations program and engagement with the investment community. She is responsible for communicating RFA's strategy, financial performance, and long-term value creation initiatives to shareholders, analysts, and other stakeholders, while supporting the Company's capital markets objectives. Heather holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Manitoba and is licensed as both a Real Estate Salesperson and Broker through the Manitoba Real Estate Association.

Global Head of Marketing

Matt Lirantzis is the Global Head of Marketing at RFA, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage and financial services industry. Throughout his career, he has held a range of senior leadership positions, including Vice President of Originations and Vice President of Sales & Marketing. As one of the early members of the RFA Mortgage Corporation team, Matt played a pivotal role in building and scaling the company’s sales and marketing functions. Leveraging his deep understanding of the broker channel, combined with innovative marketing and sales strategies, he has helped drive RFA’s growth and establish its position as a leading lender in the Canadian mortgage market.

Global Head of Human Resources

Angela Morgan is Global Head of Human Resources, with more than 30 years of HR experience, including 23 years in leadership roles. She has extensive expertise in employee engagement, workplace culture, talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), as well as mergers, acquisitions, and business integrations. She plays a key role in advancing RFA's people strategy and organizational objectives, supporting the development of a high-performing culture aligned with the Company's mission and values. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto.

VP, Financial Reporting

Lena Laluk is a senior finance professional with extensive experience in public company financial reporting, IFRS, internal controls, and compliance risk management. She previously served as Vice-President, Financial Reporting at Artis REIT and, prior to that, held a senior finance role at GWL Realty Advisors Inc. She also brings over 20 years of public accounting experience with large international firms. Ms. Laluk holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA).

VP, Accounting

Danielle Robert serves as Vice President, Accounting for RFA Financial. In her role, she leads and oversees the organization’s accounting and finance functions, working closely with executive leadership to support growth initiatives and strengthen financial processes. She has more than 15 years of industry experience, with demonstrated expertise in public company reporting, accounting operations, and financial process optimization. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from the University of Manitoba and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA).
